If you are having problems, "stuttering" as you say, may be due to your internet speed not buffering fast enough. If that is the case, just d/load the video and watch it at your leisure. I have a fairly decent system and very good internet speeds but still have problems with some YouTube videos.

I can't really download the vids as I like to listen to and watch music videos and often start off listening to say Pearl Jam and end up watching say Little Walter and all kinds of stuff in-between...either that or sit and endure the visual diarrhoea that my missus watches.
I can't watch that stuff, I feel like I should bleach my eyes after even a glimpse.
I tried a vid earlier in 720p ( the new spiderman ad) and it played perfectly for a while before doing the usual and freezing for 20 seconds for no apparent reason and then continuing.

That sounds like buffering. You are not getting enough info fast enough for a constant stream. So, it could be on your end or the host. I have had this problem before. I watch video game walkthroughs and sometimes find myself waiting for the vid to constanly load. So, I just search for a similar vid that streams constantly.

I have just installed adblock thinking that very often even if the vid has stopped playing the ad will continue, so I blocked them.

i too would like to know which will be the best for watching flash online coming up, if it be intel/amd/nvidia as i do a lot that, internet connection and not too sucky cpu just seems to be the way right now
