Cheap hose

Okay i wana test my system on wc for a laugh, got the follwing

WC block
Eheim 1048 pump

So if i just got some 1/2'' hose off a local aquriam place that will be okay to use?

Was thinking just to have a big bucket with the hose coming out, no rad....

1/2" hose from a local aquarium is what I've used for some of mine, and is fine (and cheaper)

Dudes, why whould i say 1/2'' if i had no idea what size my barbs are on my pump or block. Block is a D-tek LLWW 3 barb job. Pumps are 1/2'' and a bucket will do fine.

All i asked was on hose!! Cheers Captin Kirk for you help.

1048 by default is 3/8". You sure it's 1/2"?

Yeah as it has 1/2'' barbs fitted and i have check with a set of dgital verniers!

Box also is marked with 1/2'' barbs!

All 3 of my 1048's are 1/2''

Agh i know a few mate, Millbay Road, Stonehouse these are local to me.

It;s all good, just spent £201 off beans on my WC system
