Cheap HPI check

Hi folks,
Where do you get your HPI checks done? HPI themselves charge about £40 or so - other places charge a few quid less. Anyone got any recommendations for where to try?

I know the car will have outstanding finance on it as part of any deal I may strike would end up in this being paid off, but I want to check it has not been stuffed into a wall or anything.

Any recommendations?

Humm, well I will steer away from the text line then. I notice that the RAC do a "proper" check for £24.99 which seems reasonable. I'll have a read through the T&C's later on today.
