Hey,

I'm looking to get a decent but fairly cheap keyboard and mouse for both gaming and everyday use and could do with some advice from people more in the know. I'm settting myself a budget of around £50 in total so can i get something good for that or is it not worth it? Is there any point spending more than this/this much? Also what sort of features are good to look out for? Because I can't really see myself needing a load of macros for example.

Anyway just really looking for a point in the right direction and maybe some opinions of kit you guys already own. Thanks for your time!

in b4 mass sidewinder x4 and mx 518 reccomendations

Aha I had heard the sidewinder was popular and just wondered if there was any other options to consider, will check out all that logitech has to offer now.
Thanks for the swift replies guys. I always find forum members to be great with this sort of stuff

One further question

I quite like the feel of laptop keyboards for typing on, is it possible to get a keyboard with the same kind of low profile keys? This Razer kind of looks like it has the kind of keys I mean (but its a bit more expensive)

Ive had a Packard Bell 5131c since 1996 that ive never had a problem with

Mouse - Ive been using a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 for many years. No problems either

edit - ive had keybaord similar to the above in the past with those flat type keys and they sort of had a habit of sticking. Very annoying
