Cheap Landline

So my mum still uses the landline with a sky package that no one bothers with these days and they're paying a ridiculous amount. Is there a service where we can maybe only have incoming calls and maybe have them divert to a mobile number?

Have a look at https://www.sipgate.co.uk/ it’s a voip line. You get a free local number and incoming is free. Either use an app or have a voip handset setup at home connected to your internet.

Add £10 to your account and just use it as payg. Will last ages.

Account is free. (Used to be called sipgate basic) but now just sipgate.

We have been using it since 2018 and never missed a beat. We ported our BT landline number over to it too.
