Cheap Laptop? £350~

My new housemate is looking for a cheap ass laptop, just something that can play movies, hold music.. the basics.

Are dell still the cheapest for that sort of thing these days or is there another company that might offer better for the same price? I've always used PCs so I need a bit of help finding what they want.

Yeah - get a dell. There are often some good discounts / offers over at Dell. Also, have a look in their 'small business' section for better prices if you don't mind sacrificing the "send if back if you have ordered the wrong items" privilege.

Dell offers / discounts can be found on a website that is hot, based in the UK and contains deals...

Thanks guys I'll let her know. I'll look up vostros and dell and see what i can come up with. Didn't know there was a laptop section!
