A friend of mine is looking for a new laptop but doesn't want to spend much at all. I've offered him my old (3-4 years) XPS M1330 (2GB RAM, T7500 Core 2 and 200GB 7200RPM HDD) for £200 but was wondering if there was anything better around for a similarish price. I'm doubtful but maybe on the Dell outlet, unfortunately I have no idea what a good cheap laptop and a bad cheap laptop are and there are so many laptops on there...!
Any suggestions as to what may be around? I'm thinking quality wise nothing will match the XPS but I may be able to get him a slightly faster machine?
