Hi guys, I hope everyone is well.

I was looking for some advice regarding laptops please. I'd like something cheap (£300ish, the cheaper the better). Ive had a quick browse around PC World/Curries in and their products seem horrible and plasticy. I've always had high end so perhaps it's just me being pinikity for the price range, but I'd like something half decent if I'm spending 100's of pounds.

For the most part I just want to browse the web e.t.c, but I want the ease of use you get from a higher end machine.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

£300 brand new is going to feel cheap and plastic more than likely unless you get a good sale price

maybe if it's just for browsing asus vivobook range looks a little better with some brushed steel options and they make decent products also. i3 cpu set you back around £350 new probably ASUS VivoBook X540LA-XX980T as an example
