Cheap lightweight suitcases needed

Hello chaps,

I'm in need of a couple of large, lightweight and most importantly cheap suitcases. This is for our honeymoon so all available money is going on the wedding! I don't expect these to last for years.

I have an IT luggage holdall (I think it's the same make, they have an outlet by the NEC) and the quality is great, although it was much more than that price.

10 year guarantee as well which they apparently replace like for like withour issue.

For my honeymoon I bought me and the wifey some giant samsonite cases for a few hundred only and they're still going strong after a hell of a lot of travelling.

Provided your not a brand whore, the Dunlop ones sports direct do are very cheap (£20) ive had the large one a few years and its still going strong.

I have the IT ones, they are ok but when very full the base can drag on the floor between the wheels

I was in the same situation with a holiday coming up.

A bit more carrying capacity and looks like the 8 wheels may cope better with a heavy suitcase. And still very lightweight.

Exactly this, I wore through the base of mine carrying it down the street in Bangkok.

Try your local Home Bargains, I picked up a nice Antler case from there very cheap. Sadly I needed a bigger case for a trip tomorrow and they didn't have much, ended up buying from TK Maxx, not that cheap but they have a good selection.

No I never even thought of that to be honest, still got it knackered sat in the cupboard!
