I bought my wife one of those cheap, key-fob style 512Mb mp3 players off an auction site for my wife. Anyhow it didn't work properly and I somehow got a refund (it was made with cheap Chinese RAM etc). But it did only cost £40

Any ideas? I need something very easy to use (I will probably end up teaching her), reliable and cheap. Looking at around max 512Mb as she does not have many CDs. Maybe the shuffle?
