One of my hobbies is mucking about with sequencing software, and recently I've started using "found" sounds. (It all started last year when I walked past an airconditioning unit that was making a spooky UFO-style squeaking, I just couldn't resist!
)
I've been using my phone to record them, which isn't ideal. So I've been thinking, since I'm thinking about buying an MP3 player anyway, I might as well get one with a built-in mic. I know that some reporters use them to record interviews, so I'm thinking there must be some about that can record at a decent quality! Any suggestions?
