Cheap Netbook/Small Laptop for Linux

Hello!

Can anybody recommend any netbook/laptop manufacturers or specific models with good Linux support? I've been looking on sites like LinLap and it seems that on many devices not all functionality is supported.

I am considering buying an inexpensive and compact netbook or laptop to play with Linux on (probably Ubuntu or Mint). I would rather get hold of a laptop which is well supported rather than having to constantly hack to get/keep things working. (Learning the OS = Good, Having to deal with windows being too large for screens, etc = Bad).

Lenovo usually have good compatibility so they are worth a look.

The FullHD IPS screen is a beauty and as a newcomer to Linux you can really abuse Dell support
