Hi all,

My wife very kindly got be a Logitech G900 Mouse for XMAS which is great but now my crappy HP keyboard from an old work pc is looking shabby next to it....so any idea on a nice keyboard that quiet and under £50? Lower the better really...mainly used for gaming and work email typing...

Thanks

Great thanks that does look nice and would match, any view on if I should send another £35 and get a Fnatic Gear Rush Silent LED Mechanical Keyboard, main thing is its mechanical which everyone is always banging on about....?

It depends on if you want your colours to sync over the mouse and keyboard and you will need the keyboard to also be Logitech if you are bothered about having this. Such as my corsair keyboard and mouse both rainbow effect together ahah :D

With Mechanical Keyboard you need to choose you key you want such as MX Black, red.... But if you google the difference you can see all the different ones. Some are quiter, some of clickier, some are louder or more tactile feedback etc.

I now have a mechanical keyboard and wouldn't go back, the key's don't have to be 'bottom out'... Basically with a mechanical keyboard the key press is registered before the key is fully pressed down so you don't have to push the keys down all the time. You easily get used to it and can either lightly press the keys or still bottom them out.

Yeah I like the look of the Logitech, Just needs to be mechanical... but some people don't like mechanical anyway. does look sleek

Having bought a mechanical keyboard about a year ago, I like it, and is better over a regular one, but I don't think it's worth the cost over a regular one and wouldn't bother next time

It all depends on how much you use you PC and need the features they offer I guess
