Hi all,
Just looking to upgrade my parents' PC which is getting long in the tooth now, just being used for general browsing, word documents, plus something I can play LoL on when I'm over there (not very often).
I'm planning on reusing as much as I can (PSU is Corsair CX 300W so should be ok), so all I really need is a new CPU/MOBO/RAM.
Current spec is E6600 with 2GB DDR2 RAM (2x1GB; motherboard only has 2 slots and for the price of DDR2 RAM I might as well just upgrade the whole thing), and some GPU I cant remember (maybe ATI 4650 passive? or something similar).
I was thinking of the G4560 as I found a bundle with the Asus B250M-K motherboard and 8GB 2400MHz RAM for £184. Then I'll buy a new HDD (already have an SSD) and good to go? Or is there anything I can get that's better which will be under £200.
Will the onboard 610 graphics be better than the ATI 4650?
Thanks.
