Cheap parking near Excel centre in London?

I'm staying very close to the excel centre from Friday night until Sunday and going to the motorshow on Saturday.

The excel car park is very convenient for me but it's £21 for 24 hours! :eek:

Does anyone know of near by parking that's cheap? I'd like somewhere reasonable where I won't come back to a broken window or scratches down my car so personal recommendations are always best.
 
I'm staying at the Ibis hotel on site, so I'm hoping to leave my car in their carpark until after the show. The price of parking is just lunatic.
 
im in the crowne plaza right by the excel at the moment. It's bouncing, full of people working at the show. For the benefit of mrsyoustolemyname in case she reads this post, all the girls working at the show are minging and not bikini babes at all. Honest.

Car Parks...there is one attached to the crowne plaza here, a multi story behind the hotel as well. Other option might be to park at london city airport.

There is an underground one in Canary Wharf too. I bet that would be well quiet at weekends and its only 10 mins on the DLR to Excel.

Im off down to the hotel bar now to talk to men about cars. Not to look at the show babes as they are all minging. Honest. :D
 
02/dome car park is £6 for 24hours, and you can then get the Jubilee line from N.Grenwich to Canning Town then change for the DLR for Custom house / eXcel.

Did the same journey this morning whilst visiting the motorshow.

Quite a big saving so looking tempting
