my nephews a tight old sod, so looking for as cheap a build as possible :D

any advice would be appreciated, thank you.

Do you have any peripherals - Keyboard, mouse, monitor, headphones, copy of windows etc...

Does it have to be new? You can usually get great value second hand, especially with a low spec where you can you on-board gfx, not much to go wrong.

We started my nephew off on a cheap laptop. The Asus that OCUK sell would be fine if were not for the pathetic drive space. 32 GB disk space is not enough these days, even if it is SSD.

Yeah but the pc will allow him to actually game, and hold value whereas that laptop will not, and will be unsellable after they are done with it. Plus he wont even be able to run minecraft on it.

If you have access to the MM, open a wanted thread and look through the FS section. You'll get a lot more for your money.

The good thing about PC build's is that you can put used parts in a new case and the kid wont know. Santa will have had the elves put this together especially :D
