Cheap projector screens vs named screen

You can get a 100" electric screen for like £100 these days with remote, all over the bay and the rainforest place some good reviews as well.

Am just wondering if makes like optoma would produce a much better screen that you would notice the difference? a white surface is a white surface to me

One last thing I have the option of going for electric or manual in my bedroom, plan to leave it down most of the time. Is there a clear winner between the too?

Electric every time just so you can have it wind up and down when you power on the projector it's all about the look!

As for the screen the law of diminishing returns applies as with everything personally I'd go for the £100 screen as it will likely be more than adequate.

I've got a full remote electric ~£100 screen and I'm very happy with it.

I have a crosby & bown if you've heard of them, cheap and cheerfull & does a fair job,

I use it with a HD33

I went for a manual screen, easy installation and gona have it down full time so works out cheaper............ Gona find a easy way to tab tension it in some places to keep it pulled and flat
