cheap remote software for web support

I'm looking for a cheap software solution that I can use to connect to client PC's over the web for I.T. support, something like gotomypc but cheaper. I want the clients to be able to run a simple app or install a tiny file from my website and I can then remote control there PC and chat if required.

Any ideas?

vnc needs them to install and download and app that might be too technical for some users and may not have access rights to do it. I want something that is simple and hopefully run from an Activex component. Teamviewer looks ok but is slightly on the expensive side of what I was expecting, logmein is even more expensive
