Had this posted in the general forum but I bet I'll have more luck in here :)

I'd like to build a cheap sff setup for my living room. I'd be after something quiet that could be hooked up to my TV and amp and be controlled by remote.

Sub £300 would be nice but is it acheivable?

There is a place on here For Sale / Wanted, which possibly means it could be breaking the rules to suggest anywhere else.

Unfortunately you need I believe around 300 posts to be able to access it as well as being a member for 3 months + (last time I heard anyway)

Should be easy as long as you are not after a top of the range system, have a look in the barebones section at the asus barebones just avoid the black vintage barebone as it is said to perform like a dog, and stick with amd processors as they are cheaper than intel
