Cheap silent fans

Have a case with 8 fans in, also a h80i with stock fans.

The vibration in my case is horrible so I was hoping someone could recommend some case fans and some fans for my h80i that are near silent but effective.

Thanks a lot!

Also is there anything I can get for my case to noise dampen it? Also replacing screws with rubber or some kind of way to stop the Vibration?

8 fans sounds abit excessive? are they all running at 12v? If they are, its no wonder they're making a racket!

I've got 3x fractal 140mm fans running at 7v and fairly aggressive fan curves on my h100i with the stock corsair fans and gpu. And while i'm just browsing and other non-stressful taskes its almost silent

I have 8 Arctic F12s in my case, all running at 50% and it keeps my case very cool and it isn't loud at all. I can drop them down to 30% and still maintain a fairly cool system, whilst being just as quiet - Not so good on the GPU front when gaming at those speeds though.

They only cost me around £4 each a few months ago, and they're PWM, the only downside is the wires are very messy.

Okay ill grab those for my case. What shall I get for the h80i? These fans are horrible and I can hear them vibrating from the other side of my room...(cost not issue as the cooling is terrible as I dont want it too loud )

For the H80i you would want static pressure fans, like the corsair sp120s, get the quiet edition and use the inline resistor as well if they're still to loud :)

Rubber fan grommits buy a bulk pack from somewhere and depending on which motherboard you have you can possibly make full use of all fan headers and control those fans / undervolt them in bios. You can also use 5v and 7v fan adapter cables. And as said above 8 case fans seems ott 2 at front pulling in 1 at rear exhaust 1 in top exhaust should do.

Will need 3x intakes to 2x exhaust to balance airflow. Reason being the intake grills are usually more restrictive than exhaust grills as well as generally having filters. The key is to have slightly more intake airflow than exhaust airflow. This causes air to leak out other case openings keeping dust out rather than leaking in bringing dust in. Sometimes 4x intake to 2x exhaust is needed for intake airflow to be slightly higher than exhaust.
