I'm looking for a small, basic, cheap laptop for emails and word processing. I have a work laptop but can't access Gmail etc so need to carry two laptops around with me which is annoying. Only requirements are a USB C port (so I can plug into my dock at home) and SSD.

Budget is as cheap as possible. I could go up to £300 maybe.

I found a Dell Lattitude 7300 on their outlet site which would fit the bill except it's lacking USB C.

Any thoughts highly appreciated!

I got a Dell latitude 7280 off members market. Very happy with it was less then £200.

Generally I've found used high kit is the best way to go in this situation.I previously had a lenovo t430, which I suspect the cockroaches will still being using long after the human race is extinct.

A few years back I bought an Acer laptop new for about £200. It only have 64gb of storage. It was awful in so many ways.
