Hard Drive - Wanted 640GB F1 but they out of stock, alterntive ?
Memory - Got 2GB of 6400cas4 ddr2 spare.
Graphics - Got a 7300 spare.
Monitor/Keyboard/Mouse/Case - Can use old.
Should this be ok to clock to around 3Ghz ?
This is a pc for my dad, so minimal gaming. His old AMD setups is very show now and cant cope very well with modarn programs lol.
Budget is around £250, as i have a lot of the parts already.
My main concern is getting a decent motherboard and cpu, his current one doesnt even have USB2.0 lol, so takes an age to get his photos/movies from devices onto the pc, never mind edit them. XP grinds to a halt on his current one too, i can't stand to even use it when i compare it to my own now
