Hi

I've decided to have a move about at home and move my gaming PC behind the sofa so I can play game on the TV and then buy a decent laptop for browsing/work etc, whilst this will be great 99% of the time I'd like to be able to stream my games back when the wife has the TV, I will obviously be able to use my laptop at my desk but I'd like to be able to stream to the TV in the bedroom too and as I'm doing this I might as well have it stream Xbox One games as well (So has to be able to run Windows 10).
My first thought was I could plug my laptop into the TV or use an old laptop or maybe get one of those HP stream laptops but TBH I'd rather have something as small as possible and with easy access to the power button so I can just turn it on and play without mucking around.
Is there anything out there that won't cost the earth (£200 is an absolute max) that will do this, I looked at an Intel Compute Stick but the reviews are far from good.
Also how good is steam streaming over WiFi, I'm quite happy running CAT5 if it's worth the hassle (and with me it's a hassle, takes me 2-3mins to do one end of the cable!).

Intel NUC? all the machine has to do is run windows 10, and decode a video stream, so pretty much anything that can run windows 10 will be fine.

Streaming is fine over wireless, if you've got at least Wireless N. Just bear in mind that you might not want to play a fast twitch shooter over it.
I actually stream from my server via VPN to my windows tablet when I am at my parents/friends house and its not too bad, but i do end up with around 60-100ms input/frame lag.

Thanks for that, the Intel NUC's do look like they are worth a try (I can always find another use for it if it's no good).
I've now managed to try out both Steam Streaming and Xbox Windows 10 streaming on an old as hell laptop (Dell Inspiron 1525) and both worked but both were far from perfect but it does only support wireless G so that might be an issue.
Also no idea about input lag, but my TV in the bedroom is far from great (it's only 720P I think) as it barely gets used, but if it's gonna be used more it might be worth getting a decent 32" in there.
I guess the best thing I could do is get my laptop and then use that on the TV as a test rather than wasting cash...

I did look at the steam link but then I wouldn't be able to stream my Xbox stuff as well, shame really as it would have been perfect
