Hi, I'm building a basic system for my dad to use, mostly for photo editing and internet use, it will be housed in the living room, so noise is somewhat a factor, as is size, but not hugely. He is also interested in flight sims, so would like the option of upgrading in the future for very basic gaming. £400 is a rough budget, could be convinced to stretch to a bit more, but it will be mostly used for very basic things.

This is the list i came up with:

CPU: AMD A10 7870k

Motherboard: MSI A88XM-E35

RAM: 2x4GB Corsair DDR3 XMS3

POWER: 500W Corsair CXM Builder series

CASE: Fractal Design Define

SSD: 250GB Samsung 850 EVO

HDD: 1TB Seagate

Ive done some quick review searching and everything here seems to be decent, but im frankly a bit overwhelmed by choice. The integrated graphics in the CPU seem to have a decent rep and cut down the cost not having to have a dedicated graphics card.
Anyway, i would really appreciate some opinions from people who know a lot more than I do about it, thanks in advance!

It all looks ok to me. You might want to budget in a decent cooler if noise will be an issue - the stock AMD part is very awful
