Cheap tablet for a 7 year old?

Hi guys,
Im looking into getting my daughter a tablet for christmas. She would need it mainly for watching films andplaying a few kiddie games, id rather it be android, as there is a decent selection of games/kiddy educational stuff.
What would you recommend for a budget of around £100-150

Well in honestly I was asking on behalf of a mate, he ended up getting him a reconditioned PS3 lol

haha, ya, thats why 'i'm' the proud owner of my sons xbox, ps3 + Psp! should have the lot when my daughter gets her tablet

Agree with above, a 7 year old shouldn't be taking those kind of tables lol

Be better off getting one of those computers that toys r us sell, the ones with the rubber cases

I heard something about a Toys R Us Tablet but unsure if it can watch films.

HMV had an archos tablet at half price a few weeks ago.

Was £125 down from £250. Whilst not an amazing tablet for the price it's pretty good. My friend got one, plays movies fine. Easy to install apps. Can use usb sticks as additional storage (handy for movies).

Ya think I've missed that, they seem to be back at full price now, would have been ideal.

My 5 year old niece uses my iPad 2 all the time, not a problem with it.

Errm, i dont know if your on the wind up here mate. But i know my daughter rather well, and know she would think the world of it and treat it with respect. Dont judge other peoples kids like your own.

I don't even have kids, my girlfriends younger sister is 21 and I found the dog sleeping on her laptop the other day, some people have no respect for technology lol
