Cheap to run printer

Im looking for a cheap to run printer.
Preferably one i can get refills on cartridges for under a tenner or so.
I dont mind the initial startup cost of maybe 50-60 quid.
but im going to be doing a lot of printing this year as im a lowly student.

any advice would be appreciated.

look for a continous ink system if you want cheap printing. the cost of the printer then shouldnt really be an issue as a can CIS brings printing costs to almost nothing

im mainly going to be printing in black and white,im not sure im going to be doing that much printing to require one of those,
is there no cheap printer alternative
