Cheap upgrade.

Well im going to upgrade to 2gb of ram tomorow, just a quick question before i do: is it worth me changing my cpu, sig below but only @ 2995ghz. Thinking of a e2180 and clocking it. Will it be ok in my board? what can i expect clocking wise? cheers fellas

is your current cpu based upon the c2d articuture? if not then i think you will (as the low end c2d beat nearly all of intels previous cpus) , if so i am unsure

No not c2d, i think it was basically two p4's strapped together, someone may correct me though!
