Im upgrading my daughters pc as a christmas prezzie,
nothing amazing its only going to be used for watching films and playing flash games on cbeebies :D

I only need mobo cpu and ram and so far ive got these in the basket
Does anyone have any experience of these or have any better suggestions ?

YOUR BASKET
1 x Gigabyte H61MA-D2V Intel H61 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £39.98
1 x Intel Celeron G530 2.40GHz Socket LGA 1155 Processor - Retail £29.99
1 x GeIL Black Dragon 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Dual Channel Kit (GD38GB1333C9DC) £23.99
Total : £104.46 (includes shipping : £8.75).

For that kinda usage it seems perfect to me, 8GB is a whole lotta ram but at that price it's only 1p more than 4GB. I'd say it'll be fairly future-proof :)

I run the G530 in my spare pc and its a fairly nippy cpu.

Got no complaints with the build.

Lano build for around the same cost. CPU wise it should about the same performance but with much better graphics.

You could try a Trinity build but that would be around £30 extra.

I never thought about AMD being a bit of an Intel fan

but those new cpus look quit nice didnt really want to spend more than 100 quid due to its intended purpose

but i might just stretch it ;)
