Hi. Can somebody please advise a cheap way of water cooling the northbridge on my asus 790i mobo. The heatsink is already in place curtosey of Asus. My case is an Antec 1200. Many thanks

Not yet. I have a H50 on my cpu. Reason why im asking is that my first GPu is gettinga little toasty and it sits right close to my northbridge. I was thinking of trying to watercool this area cheaply to drive heat down and ultimately drop the temp on my gpu. Not to sure if its a great idea but seeing as though the kit is there on the asus board I might as well try to use it. A lad I know said to mod my H50 to cover the N/Bridge as well but im not to keen on the idea and ive never done that sort of thing before.

You could mod the H50, but I wouldn't advise it.

What I would do is get some air cooling on the Northbridge. Either strap a small fan on there with cable ties or similar, or even get an Antec Spot cool (flexible fan allowing you to bend it into position)
