Cheap watercooling solution

Hi guys, looking for some help again please,

So i've recently aquired an R9 290X 4GB with a EK-FC-R9-290X Acetal and Nickel Ek Water block attached to it.

My current PC specs are:
Fractal Design core 1000 case (microatx case)
i5 2500k
asus p8p67m mobo (microatx)
two 1TB drives in RAID0
two 7770s in crossfire
corsair cx430 power supply

I will ofcourse be upgrading my power supply.

but was wondering could I just use this:

also what fittings would you reccommend for this? I've read reviews for the product and it's suprisingly not a bad pump/res

yes you could, grab some primochill tube(13/10 or 16/10) + appropriate number of the cheapest compression fittings in 13 or 16mm (Do not use the ones meant for acrylic tube!)+mayhems non-pastel fluid and thats all you need at its most basic along with a fan.

more advanced but also more expensive would be to add a drain port.

or save a little by buying coloured tube and nipping down halfords for DI water

sadly OCUK are not stocking the XSPC compression fittings they were about £1.50 cheaper and it all adds up

This will be a nice little cooling loop for your GPU, that setup should work fine.

Use these fittings to connect the tube on the cheap (They look decent too if you ask me)

Get whatever tubing is cheap and is 10mm/16mm (3/8 - 5/8 in inches), tubing really doesn't matter much.

You will need a decent fan for the radiator. I would recommend a Noctua NF-A14, NF-P14 (which is a bit cheaper and slightly louder than the NF-A14) or EK Vardar 140mm, they all have fantastic airflow.

REMEMBER. If you buy plain distilled water for the cooling loop then you will need to add a silver kill coil, which is a few pounds, to prevent bacterial growth. It might work out cheaper to buy a premixed fluid (1L will be plenty).
