Cheap wheel stand ideas needed.

I got a Logitech Driving Force GT yesterday and my ironing board makes for a less than convenient stand. I did a forum search and pretty much every thread centres around the Wheel Stand Pro. Since i dont have £90 i need to try and find something else.

I googled for a laptop stand/table but most of them seem to either be the wrong shape (wouldn't be able to get my legs to the pedals for example) or they cost £40+.

If anyone could point me in the direction of something inexpensive and suitable it'd make my christmas a very merry one.

Yeah i found that one too but was unsure if it was the right design for use on a sofa and if the pole would get in the way of using the pedals.

Anyway.
I used the middle table out of a nest & then extended it out by fixing some Decking that i cut to suit, Now I sit in my leather recliner & my wheel is right over my waste & the pedals fit underneath perfectly. I do have to put my toolbox on teh back though for stabilty but i keep my toolbox by my front door anyway so it's not a prob.
