I'm looking to buy a few dozen wind up torches from Amazon/somewhere so am looking for a cheap torch that will last a reasonable length of time. Anyone have experience with anything like that? Preferably something under about £5, although I'm guessing that will be a stretch.

I designed one in my second year at uni. Alas nobody makes it.

ebay has a ton under <£5, but the same design.

But no information as to how good they are...

Amazon have loads for under £5 as well but the reviews are terrible so I'd rather avoid buying a few dozen torches that don't work...:p

Got two of these - they were on offer at motor factors for 6 quid - Got them for the cars as had puncture once and Mrs's had took mini mag out of her handbag - Ever changed a wheel in pitch black with mobile screen for light ?

They are just good enough for wheel changing and stumbling round house after power cut but not much else - only good thing is you can wind it up.

5 hours too late! :(

Ordered 75 of the Rolson ones from a highstreet store instead, cheaper than Amazon.

Now looking for a load of cheap Casio Scientific Calculators! We got two for £5 each in Sainsburys but they were discontinued.

Anyone know anywhere that does cheap Casio Scientific calculators (or bulk discontinued ones?)
