whats the deal here? got a windows 10 key from the well known auction site for £1.05p and it activated all fine and dandy. iv noticed keys for office and server etc go super cheapo too. how?
Windows 10 is basically free anyway and continues to work bar a few things past activation, the cheap keys are those being sold off which have been purchased in bulk and not used, they have restrictions on reuse and could be deactivated at any time.
If they're unused COA from scrapped enterprise machines these are fine in my experience avoid the "sent via email" keys they're MSDN etc and likely get deactivated at some point might be a year or so later but sooner or later they'll go.

I'll take my chances at a couple of quid, I've had one on the machine I'm currently using for a couple of years now with no issues, cost me all of £1.95! Also I've not seen a COA for some time now, from Win 8 keys were injected into the machine doing away with the need for a COA.
