Hi there,

I am more used to building gaming PCs but the last time i did was a Q6600 about 4 years ago :S

I need to build a budget work PC, that will run the usual office applications, email, and watch youtube videos maybe playback DVDs (although not 1080p or blu-ray) So nothing overly fancy.

I am thinking a cheap i3 would suffice? but have no where to go after that. Can anyone help? I just want a barebones desktop tower, no keyboard/ monitor etc.

ideally £200 inc VAT and without windows. Is this possible?

What do you need, everything or just a tower?

just the tower please, maybe a case but i do have some old case laying around that might fit. opps i clicked send too fast before which is why there was just "hi there" lol. edited my requirements

like this? you can swap out the 500gb hdd for a 60gb ssd, and use an external drive but the motherboard doesnt support sata 6 so would have to sacrifice on speed a little.
