Cheaper action camera

Hey guys,

I'm doing a few adventure holidays in the next year do thinking of getting an action camera. I don't need more than 1080p 60FPS, if that so GoPro Hero4 Black is pointless.

Choices are looking like GoPro Session (£159), GoPro Hero4 Silver (sell it when I'm back) or Xioami Yi (£85).

Any thoughts? The Silver seems to be the best but I refuse to pay £280...

£180 for a hero 4 silver from gopro themselves. Same warranty as new, same original kit. Currently out of stock though.

I got a Git1. Use it as my dash cam, it's reliable and only £70 with casing. There is a more expensive 2k version.

And it is comparable with all GoPro accessories.

sj5000 plus £80 1080p 60fps used to love there sj4000 but went to go pro for better fpv

I just got a cheap action camera for a biking holiday.

went for the Excelvan 4k action camera at £30.

Seems decent enough for the price, I'd say its comparable to the sj4000. It has all the normal features, wifi to phone, timelaps, overlap video etc, image quality seems good too obviously not gopro level but for 30 quid it seems a bargain.

The k2 and k4 are a bit of a lie though they are just up-scaled from lower res so not worth using at all, but it will do 1080 at 60 fps and 720 at 120 fps true res.

Bought a Turnigy action cam. Think it's an SJ4000 clone. Paid £30.
