Cheaper Dropbox alternative?

mypcbackup.com

It's not like I work there or anything -_-

In which case:

1) Can you remove the "today only" on your signup form because that's just ********
2) It's a Free 14 day trial - not "free"
3) Put a tangible limit on your uploads - because I don't understand how this can be possible
4) Give more details pricing structure - all you list is "from £4.95 a month" and I have no idea what that gives me. You say I have unlimited space so why would I possibly have to pay more?

All of the above reason are why, even though I'm looking for something to do exactly this, I'm not even signing up for your free trial.

You need to make that pricing link easier to find, I could find it last night.

Also bit unsure over a small company offering unlimited space, going bust or losing the files as it won't be properly backed up.

update:

mybackup is for one pc to back up + sync

zovo allows back up of more than one pc + sync

seems very cheap for unlimited back up..

That looks quite good actually, seems very similar to dropbox and the way that works.

I think you have to have a business account to have the sync app and features.

No you dont you can get it for personal home users..... Also just to note here's a TOP Tip if you buy Trend Micro's Anti Virus like the Titanium
once you have installed the AV and activated your account the AV pop's up and give you a free years 25Gb account some of the AV's are at little at £14.99 so there is a good deal

minus.com

You'd be mad if you didn't. It's better than Dropbox, which i find really restrictive. Minus allows unlimited bandwidth for file hosting, which DB doesn't, more storage space and is much more generous on referrals. As an example, i have 50GB on my free account after a short time of having my link in a 'referrals thread' on XDA.

Don't know why there isn't one here, unless it's against the rules?

Where do you get your hard drives with unlimited capacity from?

I've been looking for them for ages - you must be able to buy them from somewhere otherwise you wouldn't be offering it, right?

i guess they work on averages, some people have a lot, some a little and they bet the average will work to earn a profit.

Same place as every other backup site. TBH. I don't do much with mypcbackup, I updated the help-center page today... I mainly work on our other unrelated project.
