cheapest 1151 socket CPU

what would be the cheapest 1151 CPU? I want to test a motherboard before I go buying an expensive CPU for it.

board Im wanting to test is the Msi Z170i Gaming Pro AC

yea that should work. checked for any BIOS compatibility with that being a Kaby lake but look's like theirs only been one BIOS released for the board.

There are 10 bios versions for that board so get a Skylake cpu to be sure of compatibility. The Celeron G3900 will be the cheapest. Kabylake support was only provided in bios 1.A. There were 8 other versions before that. See here for bios updates. CPU support list here.

I shouldnt look at that when Im tired.. I had a quick look at that page last night and thought they were all the same revision number..
