Any ideas? Im pretty sure the OcUK one doesn't do it. The only ones I know that do are the dells - any others?

With an nvidia card (8800GTS 640MB) is there any way to make the driver do 1:1? I think i heard it being possible? Would rather drop the res back a bit and get AA/AF than high res and jaggies but it will obviously suck unless I can get it to do 1:1.

Any idea if its possible for ATi cards to do 1:1 pixel mapping via software as its a feature im interested but really tempted with the OCuk 24"

Hi, Yes there's an option called "Centered Timings" within ATI's Catalyst Control Panel for DVI connected monitors.

Tbh, the OcUK 24" scales really well natively and I don't even bother with 1:1 mapping because it still looks great at a lower res.

Hi, the Dell E248WFP 24" does 1:1 pixel mapping -

(£305.49 inc. VAT) I think this is the cheapest 24" with 1:1 that OCuK do, but it's not in stock at the moment.

You can also do the pixel mapping through Nvidias Control Panel if your monitor is connected via DVI. There's an option called "Change flat panel scaling" in the "Display" settings.

In that case the OcUK job might be a pretty decent bet.... hmm.... interesting :D cheers for that - id used the scaling i THINK to get it working on HDTV :D

Having the driver pad out the image to give the same effect as 1:1 mapping is great, but the fact that a monitor can't do it itself can be annoying if you plan on connecting devices other than a PC. Just something to bear in mind.
