I am looking if anyone can recommend a decent first timer water cooler on a budget if that is even feasible.

looking at getting an i5 ivy and would like to try a non air cooling system

How much are you looking to spend and what are your system specs?

Custom watercoolers you choose the pipe, pump and rad ect.

I have the H2Flow one that was on offer last week, there far better than intel stock coolers and you pick your own fans so its up to you how loud it gets.

If your looking at over £100 then you stat to get into the world of custom water kits where you cut your own pipe lengths. they perform better than AIO's but cost more and require a little more thought in the build phase

which case will you be building into?

It matters because, if you have a very small case, something like a H80 may be good for you.
If you have a larger case but can't fit a H100 you may as well just get a good air cooler.
