Cheapest Direct Flight to KL Needed.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
That flight is no longer available :(

Darn it.
So far, the direct flight to Malaysia at £930ish inc is the only one appealing to my mum, since that China Airline deal...

Edit:
I really really appreciate everyone's help in looking for the cheapest deal. Thank you all~
Also, I can finally show my mum how helpful and useful the internet community is :D She often associate internet, chats and the likes as bad, thanks to some stupid fear-mongering articles churn out by the tabloids and housewives magazine...

Lastminute.com has:

Gatwick -> Doha (Qatar)
Doha -> KL

KL -> Doha
Doha -> Heathrow

That one's £773.. not as nice as the other one, but within your budget still!

I did see that - still want a direct flight one and only exception made was for that flight to China, my mum is more comfortable flying there than "somewhere else between London and Kuala Lumpur".

Could you not ring someone like Air Malaysia and see if they could do something for you? I reckon you could get the price down a bit.

You can do that? I thought they only do that with kids and people with disability pass?
I can promise you it wouldn't be the first nervous flyer they'd encountered. Doesn't take much effort for them to send someone to meet a passenger off the plane if that's what it takes.

I've searched high and low for anything cheaper, and I can't find anything better than the one to Qatar I'm afraid :(

Must have spent a good hour and a half looking for you though, so make sure she books something :p

Thank you all for looking - I've done quite abit of looking too - will definitely have to make a booking.

As it stands, it's between the 1 stop with Qatar / Gulf Airways or the straight flight on Malaysia Airways.

Might see if there's anyone with experience with calling Healthrow directly seeking spare seats...

Edit:
After much discussion, my mum decided that £930 is worth spending on a return ticket with Malaysia Airways, direct flight.

All sorted! :)

Thanks again everybody and especially el_dazza :D
