Cheapest gaming rig

Okay so I've got a case already, but Im in need of a system capable of playing new games on high settings. 22" BenQ monitor at 1080p if that's any help. I need this as cheap as possible, so, im guessing AMD is my best direction?

£74 for the phenom 840, could well be worth the £19 extra.
