Get a 6600GT for about £60 off the members market, not the very cheapest way to do it but i think it'll serve you better than something half the price that just about scrapes the minimum spec.

I've got to replace the GF3 for other games anyway, so the 6600GT sounds attractive, but she is demanding (!) a new card. So, the MM is not an option but new 6600GT's still cost a bit more than I'm willing to spend.
The Radeon 9550's are cheap but are fully DX9 compatible and I was hoping that it would offer both high frame rates with most of the gfx options turned on.
If you really want a new card a 9550 should be fine (just don't get the SE version as this really is appalling!)
I built a cheap PC around an A64 3200+/1GB ram and an X550 and that runs World Of Warcraft without breaking into a sweat - it's not all that demanding!
My mate plays serious pvp wow on a 64mb GF4ti 4200, they can be had for 15-20 quid. But i think a 9800Pro would be your best bang for buck, as you can play it maxed out at 1280x1024 with one of those.
