Wow! I might finally be able to upgrade my old Belkin 54G router without feeling silly. It still works, but that router just looks great and is much faster. And for £26? Bargain.

Does this come equipped to do wired connection as well? Sorry if it's a dumb question, never used a wireless router before.

Alright thanks, I'll probably pick this up when I'm eligible for free shipping, need a new router too, mine is giving me problems.

What's the difference (other than the potential range advantage mentioned above) between this and the F5D8231UK4? Which is "better"? Which is newer?

Cool, thanks. Then I'm going to go for the N1 right now. :)

EDIT: Crap! In the 10 mins it took me to get from work to home, it's gone off TWO. :(

@OcUK Any chance you'll give me the TWO price, as I was sooo close? :D

im not really good at networking actually i am really bad at it ,but is this stand alone modem or i have to connect my original modem to it

I own a Belkin F5D8231-4 v2,and it has, 'Can be used as an Access Point' capabilities..
Does this one for sale have the same so as I could link them together for better range within our home?
At present our Router is in our 'Loft Study' using a fair few 'Wired Connections' (and 'Cable Modem').
Using wireless laptops downstaires gives us sparodic signals, therefore I want to piggy back the connection from say a lower bedroom.
Would this work Ok? , if so it'll also give us the option of 'Streaming' movies from my Master PC in our Study would it not?

This router can be used as an extension for your network, yeh this would be perfect for you to steam from your master PC with no issues :)
