I need to RMA an EVGA GFX card (massive coil whine)
EVGAs site says it will have to be sent back to Germany
but if I insure it up to £500 (its a 1080) I am getting quotes of £40 :(

It was originally bought from OCUk in January this year (not by me I might add)

Don't really fancy paying £40 odd quid to send a card back, I might as well have bought a brand new one.

Any cheaper (reliable) way of sending it, or can OCUK help as it is under a year old ?

Surely if it’s within the first 12months the rma is handled by the retailer?
Can the original purchaser not assist?

When I sent mine back it went to Middlesex and I ended up getting my replacement from Germany. Ask if you can send it to the UK RMA center, unless they did away with it.

Yeah EVGA have opened a uk rma centre, I want to say in Preston. I’ve sent 3 cards back there now.

But as others say first yeah should be retailer.
