Cheapest laptop for AoE2/CoD1

Hi all,

Looking for some advice. I am hoping to play some games from my youth, namely AoE1/2 and CoD1. Don't have a lot of space for a tower etc so was hoping to pick up a reasonably cheap laptop to run these games. Can't imagine they should need too much of a high spec.

Some suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Something with integrated graphics will probably do fine these days. Ryzen Vega or Intel iGPU. Anything up to a few years old that’s thin and light.

I've got a Lenovo T480 with an 8th gen intel CPU; it runs AOE2 DE fairly well even with the expanded graphics pack, so something newer than it ought to do you just fine!

AoE1/2 are 2D I think, integrated graphics from several generations should be capable to run these. CoD1 would need a modern iGPU such as Ryzen 780m to run decent frames on HD at low, or a dedicated GPU ideally for more performance.
