Gigabyte GA-P31-DS3L Or: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L
OCZ 2x1GB DDR2-800 Dual Channel Platinum Or: Ballistix 2x1GB DDR2-800 I currently have these doing DDR1060 on stock timings and only 1.86V. Never feed these more than 2.1V. They will die.
Antec Three Hundred Case
Corsair VX450W PSU Or: Corsair VX650W PSU NEVER cheap out on the PSU! This Corsair is superb for the money.
Samsung Spinpoint 320GB HDD Or: Samsung Spinpoint 500GB
As for optical drives, go take a look around. I don't know what to recommend because I don't know if you want SATA or IDE. Personally I love my BenQ DW1640 (IDE), but they are hard to find nowadays.
NOTE: These are all suggestions. Look around and do your homework. I don't believe in "cheapest possible" when you can get good performance for just slightly more.
