Cheapest phone that supports exhange mail

Our work contract isnt due for upgrades for a few more months but have had a request from a member of staff that she could really do with mobile email access and from what I know her current phone which is a SE Elm doesnt support it (unless someone knows otherwise) so as a stop gap im looking to get her a stopgap PAYG phone till the upgrades are due in May, any ideas or suggestions?

Needs to either be unlocked or on Orange (or easily unlockable :) )
 
Any android 2.1+ will support MS Exchange to a decent enough level and are everywhere. As you said Orange I'll vote the monte carlo or SanFran 2 but anything will really work, these are just cheap but if you wanted you could easily go second hand HTC Desire/Galaxy S (first)/Desire HD or similar.
 
I noticed my LG optimus 2X has support for exchange mail :-) (£199 sim free - sorry not the cheapest btw)
