Looking to get some to buy Halo map packs. £17.50 in a high street store for 2100 points. Is this cheap or can i get cheaper?

thanks.

£14.99 is the cheapest I've seen them.

(after alittle google search)

I thought all point cards would be the same price. You're just buying money after all. How weird that the prices vary from store to store.

The cheapest ive seen is £15, but on the high street it works out a little bit cheaper to get the gta 1600 pack.

I got 4200 for 27 quid (wish I'd got loads now) from the high street music and games shop that shut loads of branches. it's shutting loads more apparently

Just say where you get them its so damn lame that you cant say other companies on here.

Its just a way for Overclockers to make more money by making people buy things from them

Yeah it's really mean of them to pay for and host this forum, and then say that we're not allowed to promote their direct competitors here.

I just got the points on Live itself. Bought a set of 500 and a set of 1000 since i already had 200 points on my account. Cost me £12.75 total.

Yeah because they want you to promote other stores on the forum they provide us for free, out of the back pocket of the company.

Use your loaf man!

I don't understand how they can sell points cheaper then the actual worth of the points. Aren't you just buying money with money? It would be like buying a £50 gift card for £45...

You aren't buying money from M$. Points are worthless you are simply giving them money for nothing just to get some phantom currency that costs M$ nowt.

Yeah its not as if im going to a bureau and exchanging pounds for euro. Your not buying money, your buying virtual goods. The same way as if you was to purchase a application from iTunes, or a song. Its all virtual.

Its not like MS have a 'Points Vault' with a stack of 'real' points.
