Cheapest place for SSL certificates?

Go to Namecheap and register a .info for $2.99.
At the mo there is an offer on to get a free SSL with all domains purchased - can't get much cheaper than that!!
 
ProntoSSL sell a wide Variety to suit peoples pockets, currently a great Geotrust Quick SSL promotion at the moment. If you call them tell the you are from Overclockers Forum they will give you 10% off all the GlobalSign certificates, (I know the owner :) )

Sorry to hijack, but are these shared? The Verisign ones seem very expensive by comparison, I'm assuming there's a good reason for that?

Brand recognition if you believe their hype. Small change for big organisations so they can charge what they like really, though very few of our clients (which include multi-£m organisations) go for pricey SSLs (discounting EV SSLs)
 
Verisign certificates are expensive due to them paying loads for ad words etc. There greatest competition at the moment is GlobalSign certificates with extra features, SGC, 3 for 1 server licence, and highest mobile browser compatiility. Recently people like Virgin have switched from Verisign to there certificates saving them a lot of Money, even if I dare say it on here '******' use GlobalSign SSL.

If you want to give pronto a call my friend there will talk you through the ideal certificate for your requirement, he doesnt oversell his products, tell him what its for and he will tell you certificate that will suffice your requirements.
