Cheapest quiet power supply?

Hi,

I've just purchased a new PC which has the CiT Slim Micro ATX case and 300W power supply: (snip)

The case looks decent, but the reviews for the power supply are horrible - it's for a HTPC so ideally I want something as quiet as possible.

300W should be plenty, but one option I'm looking at is the Antec VP450P, or maybe the CiT Gold Silent 450W - any thoughts please? By adding a new 750 Ti and 4GB extra RAM I've already spent more than I'd like, so my number one criteria is noise, but my number two criteria is price :) Thank you!

(edit) oh, and most importantly of all, something that will actually fit inside the Micro ATX case! Though I believe they take just regular power supplies?

Ouch, quite pricey :( Thank you though, I'll keep an eye out for it coming back in stock.

And I don't have the computer, nor the graphics card yet so now you've got me worried! I ordered the supposedly low profile 751GH8HX9KXZ KFA2 GTX750 Ti

So we're not allowed to link to other sites even for products that aren't stocked by Overclockers? Fair enough, but it makes it difficult to actually discuss the items IMO. Btw I think your shift key is stuck

Thank you Michael, to be honest I want to cancel the whole damn thing - but it's too late for that now unfortunately, both the card, and the PC :(

Looking at images of the case though, it should fit okay, even if the card is quite deep?

Oh! I see what you mean now... yes, I actually ordered that too - thank you so much Michael, I'm feeling a bit better about the purchase now :)

Will keep an eye out for the PSU you mentioned coming back in stock too, it sounds perfect and though it's more than I was hoping to spend, I think in this case it's worth it (the right form factor, plus the semi fanless design sounds perfect - for the most part we'll be using this to stream Netflix so the quieter the better)
